
The TLP is a comprehensive program offering housing and supportive services to homeless young people ages 16-21. The TLP’s primary goal is to gradually and successfully assist each participant with achieving self-sufficiency.
The TLP offers a caring support system for homeless young people with opportunities to exercise leadership abilities, strengthen skills on many levels, and become involved in their communities. Each youth participates in school, vocational training and employment throughout the program.
Services Include:
- Comprehensive assessment
- Housing and case management
- Counseling
- Self-sufficiency skills training, such as home economics, budgeting, employability, drivers education, and social skills
- Educational, vocational, and pre-vocational assistance
- Recreation and opportunities for volunteer service in the community
- Transportation as needed to and from employment, school and other essential appointments
