JOB TITLE: Arts & Crafts Instructor
JOB SUMMARY: To teach and demonstrate how to do various arts and crafts activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Assist program supervisor in coordinating and implementing arts and crafts projects designed to provide youth with effective leisure time activities.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Ability to teach and demonstrate to youth how to do various arts and crafts activities, sewing, etc. Complete and pass a background screening.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact
and converse with others freely. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to assimilate information from a printed page. Ability to sit or stand for indefinite periods of time.
Number of Volunteers Needed: 4
Minimum Time Commitment: One hour for at least (4) times a month for at least (6) months. Must be able to attend orientation and training provided by Crosswinds.
